This project was undertaken for a repeat client Palm Lake Group. CHP as well as our normal project management services, were engaged to provide construction management assistance on a large retirement living facility on the Sunshine Coast within the very successful Pelican Waters estate. This multi-level upmarket facility has state of the art features and a very high quality of design and finishes. Palm Lake were undertaking these works via their own construction entity, but CHP were engaged to undertake subcontractor selection and review, resolve key foundation and structural design issues and assist the construction management team as a high level supplementary resource. For example, CHP developed the piling and tilt panel system with the subcontractor up to shop drawing and pricing. CHP have been there to prevent and solve complex issues as they arise so that Palm Lakes construction group can focus on building and not getting bogged down in design problems. This facility will open in 2025.
