The major redevelopment of Australia Fair Shopping Centre, a multi-level regional centre, has delivered a vibrant and contemporary retail experience in the heart of the Gold Coast’s  traditional CBD. It has become the catalyst for the wider Southport area rejuvenation and revival for the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

CHP Projects was engaged to Project manage Stage one of the overall redevelopment called Australia Fair Metro located to the west side of Scarborough street. The Australia Fair Metro development comprised of 18 new speciality tenants & two mini major tenants including new travellator works. This refurbishment involved complex demolition, mall re-alignment and travellator replacement works whilst maintaining function of a fully operational mezzanine carpark above the ground level to access the east side of the shopping centre.
